Definitely makes Hemi growl. Almost like cavitation sounds. I didn't hear a whistle, just something like a low trill. My only complaint so far is that the included crankcase air hose is too small to bleed the main air hose. It took a lot of work to install, even partially. Also, the louver/barrier part doesn't really isolate the filter area, so I'm not sure what the purpose of the gasket is. Installation is pretty easy, but the resolution of the images in the attached guide is terrible. At least one step asks you to remove the indicated screw, but there are no instructions. It's easy enough to understand, but still. I'm hoping for an increase in MPG, I don't care about performance or noise so I guess I'll see what happens.
