Review on C-Shaped Handle Inverted Umbrella: Anti-UV And Windproof Rain Protection For Men And Women by Becky Evans

Great Umbrella Design

I will preface this review by saying that I haven't actually had a chance to try the umbrella in the rain. However, I have tried it out otherwise. I will update the review once we have a storm that I can try it out in. I am especially interested to see if the reverse fold design makes it more or less likely to collapse in strong wind.I love the large loop handle, not only does it make it easy to hold and control but it is big enough to hang the umbrella on a door knob. The umbrella closes the reverse of "normal" umbrellas so the outer surface that gets wet is folded inside when the umbrella is closed. This keeps the wet contained so it drips out of the bottom of the folds rather than splashing all over. Because the wet is folded inside the umbrella, I would recommend opening the umbrella after allowing it to drip dry to make sure the inner folds are completely dry before storing the umbrella. This should prevent mold and mildew. The underside layer has vent holes, probably to aid drying. The other great thing about the reverse folding design is that it allows the umbrella to stand up on its own so you can place it anywhere to drip dry. It does have a larger footprint than a normal so it will need a little room to stand on its own but much less than leaving it open to dry.The only thing I did not like was receiving an unsolicited email from the seller about a week after my purchase. It was basically asking me to contact them directly with any questions or issues but is written in broken English. However, this is has no bearing on my review.

Pros
  • Superior Protection
Cons
  • The umbrella does not provide enough ventilation in warm weather
