This is generally a monster of a router. Industrial suitability and reliability (and the styling looks just how I like it). There were absolutely no crashes or freezes in the first eight months of use; always on and always running 24x7. Works amazingly, quickly and reliably on a wide range of devices including PC, iPad, iPhone, Revain Fire Stick etc. Feet and it covers a basement and two stories with ease. The standard software package for admin functions is fine for most general users like me, and I particularly like the ability to visually display all connected devices. As some have noted, the "guest" network appears to be insecure, but is actually controlled by a password in the window that appears when you open a web browser on the device you're connecting to (similar to many hotels with guest WiFi access) . However, after working with it for a while, I preferred that the "guest" network simply appeared as a separate WiFi connection with its own custom password. Requires a browser interface to access guest network authorization on devices such as tablets and smartphones, which is sometimes inconvenient. telephone troubleshooting with Linksys. Phone support was very available and diligent on a Sunday afternoon to sort everything out. I had to go through some administrative procedures to sort out all the exchange and return logistics, but everything was fine and the overall support from Linksys was great. They moved the apartment to a new house in another state. The router is almost 4 years old and still works as reliably as new. I also use a 128GB USB flash drive plugged into my router to share files between platforms (PC, iPad, iPhone). I will also mention that this router has a setting in the Linksys Smart WiFi app that needs to be configured to allow the router to traverse all available download bandwidth from the ISP. I discovered this recently after troubleshooting why the router seemed to be getting much lower throughput even though our "base" Comcast Xfinity service had increased throughput significantly over the years. This setting is located in the Smart WiFi app under the Media Priority category. Overall, I still highly recommend this product.
