Disclaimer: This is just my personal experience with the monitor. I've been using it for the past few days. This CB282K monitor won't cause much eye strain even after hours of coding. I use it at 1080p (because 2160 is an integer multiple of 1080) for clarity and a decent text size. The backlight does not flicker (does not use PWM for dimming) when viewed through the phone's camera. The AR coating is really good - does its job without ruining the image quality. For best results when used with MBP 2019 (Monterey running) over DP: - To solve the high CPU fan speed issue and prevent the refresh rate from reverting to "Variable (40-60Hz)" every time the monitor wakes up disable FreeSync in your monitor settings and set the refresh rate to a fixed value of 60 Hz in your macOS display settings. Make sure you are using a USB-C to DP cable that supports at least 4k@60Hz. - Disable HDR in your macOS display settings.
