Protection for an important family member

First of all, I am obsessed with the safety of my dogs. Especially when I'm in the car. A car accident in 2014 caused my beagle mix to have convulsions. She was in a standard plastic container and at first appeared unharmed. She died a month later. Flash forward. two new small breed puppies. Her adult weight should not be more than 15#. I bought Gen7 and Sleepypod Air. Both offer excellent protection when installed according to the instructions. {Cm. Crash test video.} Some of the media displayed should contain a "do not use" warning. Both leave room for the puppy now and in the future. With the added benefit of not being able to move around freely in the car. I have traveled over 1,000 miles with puppies in a carrier. Both took it well. Lining removed and replaced with a bath towel. Thought it would be easier to clean up in case of a potty accident. And there are no problems with potty breaks every two and 1/2-3 hours. A quick trip to the vet for vaccinations didn't work either. My fault I had to postpone breakfast until the end of the visit. Both puppies got nauseous in the car and most of it was nauseous on towels. However, the porters were still a stinking mess. Of the two, the air from the dormouse was easier to detach from the hose. Gen7 dries faster. Very happy with both but if given the choice again I would buy two Gen7s. It's pretty basic, but the feature was the most important.
