It's about the I5-8600k. Moved from I5-3450s. I took 1C for development (UT11, BSP, who knows, he knows). He's just gorgeous. ating the configuration and launching the Enterprise is almost instantaneous, at the level of I7-7700k (developed by some clients). The first opening of UV is almost instantaneous. Comparison - merging (not by caches of a related configuration, but by 2 independent UT11) in a couple of minutes. From the Optimal Power Plan picks up frequency almost instantly, not like Ive Bridge. In general - all 1C developers - take it unambiguously, our hourly rate is too high to save on hardware. I would also recommend it as an MSSQL + 1C server, as it will be the 2nd solution in terms of performance at the moment for databases up to 50 users. Better - only i7-8700k. Heating became a fly in the ointment. No, the heat dissipation is within the normal range, but the temperature jumps on the core are strange. But Intel says this is the norm. At the same time, in comparison with the i7-7700k, they are much lower (that pebble was hot), and in terms of performance they are the same. But I just got used to the i5-3450s, which was as cold as my ex's heart.
