This burner is easy to use and works well. It's easy to clean. I bought it to reduce the purchase of plastic bottled water. I've filtered good water here, but it has a ton of calcium carbonate (very hard) and a very high PH, which I don't like. I have glass bottles that I fill and put in the fridge. If you have hard water, you need to clean it more often. Distilled water doesn't taste good. It's an acquired taste. So if you expect water to "taste good" and you're not used to distilled water, this isn't the case. If you want your water to taste more like store-bought bottled water, you need to add a few salt crystals or electrolyte minerals. I of course like to use a crystal, 800ml Himalayan Salt, but this may not work for others. Some may like the strong taste of pure distilled water.
