We've had this for a few months but my son seems to be really teething the last few days because he discovered this teether and is now chewing on it all day. He prefers it to his Sophie ring, which costs four times as much! He really seems to be gnawing at the ribs and bristles of this teether, and it's small enough and light enough that he could easily use it without much help from me. The downside of burrs is that they are close together and can trap saliva and dirt, so you need to be careful and thoughtful when cleaning. If you have a dishwasher, you could just throw it in. Anyway, I've seen the relief these bristles bring to my little one, so I'm glad I'm giving them an extra minute! And I appreciate the case that comes with it so I can just toss it in my diaper bag!
