Read reviews on this and other bottles before ordering. Got it and put it in the dishwasher right away. Well cleaned, no damage. So far, so good. We live in Arizona so we always keep a bottle of water in the car. We took one with us when we went for a walk. The first problem surfaced almost immediately. It is so high that it falls over in the cup holder. This is not good. The second problem was noticed when I tried to open it for a drink. Water splashed on my face every time I pressed the little button to open the lid. We actually made a game of pointing our noses at each other when we needed a drink. The third problem was that it is difficult to scoop water from a straw as it is only available to tiny swallows. Drinking from them is really tiring. I don't like these bottles at all. They were a waste of $23.
