Review on Infrared Resources External Universal Receiver by Seth Hogate

This IR extender has been around for a long time. I installed it under the soundbar in a small recess in the molding so I can't see it. The soundbar is mounted under the TV. All are attached to the wall. I am currently using this on an old style Verizon Fios receiver box that I installed in a cabinet to the left of my TV. All my cables run through the walls and are hidden. To date I have not had a single problem with this IR extender. It worked as it should with no issues, the wire was more than long enough for my application, but if you require a longer wire you can easily purchase additional items to make this product work for your application.
