(First remote received was defective.) The default settings didn't work with my Phillips TV so I followed the instructions to change the input code. The instructions say to hold down the mute and power button and after 3 seconds the LED will light up and you can enter a 3 digit code to test your TV. The LED never lit up no matter how long you held down those two buttons. I'll pick a replacement and see if it works and if it does I'll update my review. I suspect the mute button didn't work. The second remote worked normally and went into programming mode. I managed to find a suitable code to work with my TV. The return and reorder process was quick and easy. Thanks very much!
