This product is a very simplified approach to design and installation. It's all rubber and has no heat compensation. Most products of this type should have a heatsink to absorb excess heat, especially since the camera isn't designed for outdoor use. Also, the USB cable connected to the camera has no built-in protection, it can just be pulled out of the camera with a stick or a coat hanger! The design had to protect this cable from both moisture and a slight jerk. I just installed it and it is currently installed outside. Let's see how he handles heat and cold. I took a risk because the camera wasn't expensive, but be aware that your camera can fail due to excessive heat or cold. I will update my rating based on performance. Everything is fine at the moment and seems to be working fine!
