Yi 3 cameras are much better than outdoor cameras. With these covers you can use the interior from the outside. I have mine under the eaves and they work great.

I'm sorry I'm not 100% satisfied with this item. I ordered 4 of these for my cameras and for some reason the cameras are now having trouble connecting to wifi. Not sure what the rubber material has to do with it. But I removed it and just didn't use it. I have no more problems now after removing it. Very very cheap quality.

Please check the YI Camera Detachable Base before you buy the YI Camera Mount. My niece showed me this and with 1 screw in the base you have a pretty flexible mount. This mount's silicone cover blocks airflow to your camera. I painted my YI bindings black and they are well protected under the rear boot visor.

I have this on two of my Yi cameras. They are hung under the eaves of the house and are reliably protected from the weather. These blankets were just an extra layer and will hopefully keep you warm during the cold winter months. Installed 5 months, no problems. They were very tight and difficult to put on. It hurts when I have to take out the SD card.
