I have an Xbox One S and so does my wife. I bought 2 of these KG271 monitors. Neither monitor worked with the Xbox. I tried 4 different HDMI cables from the standard cable that came with the Xbox to HDMI 3.0 and none of the Xbox worked. I even bought an HDMI to DP adapter and tried it but it still doesn't work. I tried connecting my laptop to it via HDMI, but that didn't work either. If you are buying this monitor to use as a console, do NOT waste your time. I put 3 stars because I thought it was fair as I get a refund but my time is wasted. The monitor comes with a DP cable should it be an HDMI or other option. The monitor has this feature where it automatically searches for the input source and, since it cannot detect HDMI, goes into standby mode. I had to constantly turn it on and then sync just before turning it off to switch the input. It was a pain and a huge waste of time. Like I said, if you're buying the KG271 series for a console, look elsewhere! I can't speak for PC although my laptop didn't work over HMDI but doesn't have DP.
