I gave two stars because it is technically waterproof and has an elastic band to wear around the head. The tropical print is pretty cute too. That's all I can say about him in terms of the pros. I only gave it two stars because it's huge. If you have hair like Miss Frizzle, then this might suit you. When I tie my hair back in a ponytail and slide the cap down where it belongs, it covers my ears, eyes and most of my nose. If I let it, I think I can get him almost to the chin. He's gigantic. It's not a big deal, but if you drape it over your ears (so it doesn't spill out around the edges of your hair around your face), it will slowly fall over your eyes like some sort of slow-motion slasher movie. When you are busy doing something like taking a shower and trying to do something in the shower you end up closing your eyes and slowly starting to choke you. Once you fix it, it will allow water from your face into the hat. So if you have a huge head or tons of hair this is your product. If you're a normal person with a normal sized head/hair, shop elsewhere or get ready to fight this thing like a suffocating rug at every corner. Also, it gets moldy after a few months, even though I've tried to let it dry each time. which is gross and weird.
