Review on 💡 E17 LED Bulb 5W – Bright Daylight White (6000K) – Dimmable – Pack of 2 for Microwave Oven Light by Daniel Ortiz

Bought for Whirlpool WMH53521 does fit and delivery was quick - light is on and doesn't dim. The "On" light is used to project our "Dim" setting. REVISED from 1 star to 4 stars. So, at least for the model above, this appears to be a massive problem on Whirlpool's part. The first problem I tried to solve was that the bulb had just burned out - although a simple replacement shouldn't be a problem - the 'dimming' function never recovered on the first replacement and the light never ' turned off". I decided to order a few more bulbs, both LED and regular, but again they didn't work and didn't restore the 'dimmable' functionality of the original product, and it was always on. I also decided to order a spare base and try it, but even after that I got the same result - the light is on and not dimming. So it seems like it is obviously related to the hot tub and not the lamp or the outlet. I hope this saves you some time and hassle - if I had gone to Whirlpool first to replace something so simple it would still be under warranty and now it isn't! This will probably be the last spa product I will own on purpose because I'm so hairy!
