Knives really cut and don't break when you need a little work. Forks and spoons do NOT have cheap little plastic needles that stick in your mouth, but they are smooth so perfect for kids. I LOVE that the handles have a raised design because they're easy to grab even if your hands get wet from cooking or summer activities like boating or by the pool, which is a big problem with other brands. I bought a large mixed box as well as a side case of soup spoons. Regular spoons in a decent sized box with some depth so I didn't need soup spoons but they're good for adults especially if you're making stews because they can cram a good bite in big chunks. and who doesn't like it by the fire?
