Review on ๐ŸŽฅ Foldable Portable Outdoor Projector Screen by Vamvo - 80 Inch, Setup Stand, Transportable Full Set Bag for Camping and Recreational Events by Maxwell Thomas

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Portable, lightweight but poor image quality

The screen comes in a compact, easy-to-carry case - very portable. There were no instructions in my kit, but I quickly figured out how to assemble it. From this point of view it's five stars. However, there are things I didn't like: 1) The weak frame and lock on the third leg clamp didn't close fully, allowing the bar to still slide - I think it was a defect/poor workmanship. 2) The screen doesn't fit exactly vertically (horizontally was fine). This caused the screen to sag a little in the center and at the bottom of the screen. At the slightest wind, the screen swayed and the picture went out. Works well indoors or on a very quiet night, but not in the slightest breeze. 3) Most importantly, at least for me, the picture was dull, the colors were washed out and the reds were saturated. The reason - the material is just a clean white fabric of medium weight. This let light through (as opposed to reflection and caused the full image). The picture looked almost better from the back than from the front. Overall I award 3 stars. I think for those who just want a flat surface and don't really care about image quality, this is sufficient. However, if you understand what a good picture should look like, then this screen isn't for you.

Pros
  • VERY EASY TO INSTALL - It takes less than 3 minutes to fully install the entire node.
Cons
  • Doubtful
