The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

In overall, the BAOFENG UV-5R is a decent product for the price that it retails for. As the initial radio station, it is fairly good. It is also quite good for individuals who are not demanding on a steady and stable connection but are satisfied with a connection of medium quality. The only significant drawback is that the noise reduction from the factory requires manual configuration using a computer and a firmware cable. This is the only significant drawback. And the modulation comes across as weak on the air; you'll need to talk more loudly and get in a little bit closer. Or you can improvise your own! It's possible that this won't be a problem for everyone. And from a purely personal standpoint, the disadvantages for me include the fact that this is an essential component of regular communication.

Pros

in terms of both price and quality, it is satisfactory. The existence of two frequency bands spanning from 136 to 174 MHz and 400 to 520 MHz. Range is fairly nice. In the vicinity of the city, around 1.5–2 kilometers separate the two radio stations. It is dependent on the degree of urbanization of the terrain.

Cons

A slight space may be seen at the location where the regular antenna is connected to the device. Because the factory default setting for noise reduction is inadequate, the device frequently "puffs up somewhere" and exhibits a variety of interferences. It would be wonderful if the noise reduction worked perfectly as intended. In spite of the fact that this RDA 1846 chip does direct conversion. Not "superheterodyne". Modulation, much like the sound of a large number of "baofengs," can be heard on the radio. You will need to raise your voice and get in closer! Or you could personalize it yourself! This is a major point against us.
