I used it to easily drain water from a boat.
I used this to drain rainwater from an old fishing boat that was parked in front of my entrance. It took about three balloon pumps to start sucking; I let it run for a couple of hours and it drained the accumulated water. (This was a very slow process, however.) I was perfectly happy not having to scoop out the rough liquid. The pipe was long enough to run from the bottom of the boat over the trailer and drain to the ground. Put it on.
