After reading another reviewer's instructions (thank god she could read Korean!), I followed her advice. Soak the WHITE end for 5 seconds, then insert the GREEN end into the ear piercing hole. Drag in one direction. Do 2 passes per thread. Refuse. I bought these because some stud earrings irritate an ear for no apparent reason. I just used it and it really relieves the irritation. The scent of roses is barely perceptible. I'm glad I bought. The package arrived the next day Prime and was in good condition. In general, the product is satisfied.
