Editor's review covers almost all the features of this player well, with some exceptions. This player supports MP3 with VBR and according to Sony the battery life for MP3 CD playback is 65 hours. A not so great feature is that the battery compartment is inside the player. So if you need to change the batteries, you have to open the player, take out any disc that may be inside, and then you have access to the battery compartment. . Different equalizer settings make very noticeable differences in how your music sounds, but they are all very clean and crisp and in my experience do not distort even low quality mp3 files. The included headphones deliver decent sound.
