Slightly different from the previous model. I still like it!

I have a previous model of this and have been using it for almost 2 years. There are some things I like more and some I like less. ❤️This device is higher and slightly wider. I can put in a smaller Pyrex baking pan and bake. I used to be a lot more limited when it came to actual baking. The biscuit was about as big as it could fit. Now you can roast potatoes in it! ❤️ This device has a heavy and thick frying plate. AND IT REALLY WORKS. You preheat this teat for minutes and anything you put on it will cook quickly and brown beautifully! All frozen foods also take a few minutes to cook. ❤️ This device also has a crumb tray, interior lighting and a grid pan for air frying. Very nice accessory. ❤️This device can still be stored. SUCH A NICE FEATURE! It takes up much less space. The door remains closed in the vertical position. In addition, the device has 2 recessed handles that make it easier to carry. ❤️QR codes now make it easier to register, view information. Just point your phone at the QR sticker. 😐Since the baking plate is included in the scope of delivery, there is no longer a baking tray. I liked it. I used to line it with foil and bake mac n cheese (and casseroles) in it. I've used it for biscuits, croissants and biscuits. So now I'm assuming I'm using a seat stand? I'm worried because it's so heavy it will set fire to the bottom of fragile baked goods. I wish the classic trivet wasn't included, but the baking sheet would be. 😐 This device does not fry very well. I've used the toast setting a few times and it takes almost 7 minutes to toast PLUS as you know there is an extra step where you have to specify the number of slices to toast. This is an additional step with no return on investment. I understand why it was added, but it takes away from the beautiful simplicity. Now it's like button programming with 4 steps instead of 2. 🍪 🥐 🥔 Overall, I know I'm not making the most of it. For example, I don't dehydrate foods. I still rely on it for energy efficient fast cooking. And on vacation when my oven is full and I need extra space in the oven. In my opinion, durable and high quality. More or less easy to use, cleaned to mint condition and with great customer support. I would recommend.

Pros
  • Free up space on your kitchen table. Takes up 45% less space when you flip it over and put it away to attach your splash guard.
Cons
  • I will add later
