Review on CyberPower CSP600WSURC2 Surge Protector: 6 Outlet Wall Tap with USB Charging Ports - 1200J/125V by Leandro Gray

Unsafe and unsuitable surge protector

This is an unsafe and unsuitable surge protector (unsafe because it could cause a fire). As you can see from my photos, this pulse is very prone to "flip" even with only one outlet plugged in. There is no way to securely attach it flush to the wall (e.g. with a simple plastic screw); it just hangs at a dangerous angle from the exit. Don't be fooled by the "plastic plug" for the top exit; It doesn't protect the hefty device from being tilted face down. I chose this surge protector because of the price, and more importantly, to ensure that the switch plugged into the top outlet doesn't turn off all connected devices. There was an error. Pay an extra $7-10 for a screw stabilizer and you'll be a lot happier. If you use all 3-4 AC outlets with medium to heavy adapters, that surge will most likely drop off your wall.
