Update: September 2021 Not the latest product. I put it in storage, haven't used it for the last year and just got it out to check out the little insects in my garden. The device fell apart with very gentle use and the lenses fell to the ground. The plastic wrap seemed to have spontaneously dissolved during storage. While it worked fine initially, the case turned out to be very brittle plastic that wouldn't last long. Unfortunately I don't recommend that. Only used it for about a week last year; I've been storing it and it fell apart spontaneously. It looks like it's made out of poor quality plastic, cheap glue, or both. AVOID.———————————————————— OMG! I bought it on a whim, then regretted the order and considered canceling it. But I thought what the heck, let's see how it is there. And how? Wonderful. Very high quality. Looks and feels very well built. Smooth and accurate. I really can't believe it wasn't $100. Believe it or not, I bought this to find and kill mealybugs on my succulents. (#2020 Hobby) The light makes it really easy to see these almost microscopic creatures. The little mini ruler makes it very interesting to see how small they are. Once I find a bug, I just spray a solution of isopropyl alcohol and voila, there are no more bugs on my plants. I also think it can be used for many other purposes. I will use it a lot. Really really good! Highly recommended.
