Had high hopes for this LED light magnifier. What I experienced with this magnifier is mainly related to the batteries. The device uses a complicated sized battery, it arrived with 4 dead batteries and it is very difficult to remove/replace the dead batteries with new ones. There are NO instructions in the device how to easily change the batteries. When I bought new batteries and struggled to put them in, they lasted about 3 hours and then died. Update: September 2021 Not the latest product. I put it in storage, haven't used it for the last year and just got it out to check out the little insects in my garden. The device fell apart with very gentle use and the lenses fell to the ground. The plastic wrap seemed to have spontaneously dissolved during storage. While it worked fine initially, the case turned out to be very brittle plastic that wouldn't last long. Unfortunately I don't recommend that. Only used it for about a week last…

On the plus side is the excellent optical quality of the lens. But at least on my device the light switch didn't always work and sometimes the light flickered. There was also oxidation at the battery terminals. I removed the dirt but it was still intermittent.
