Had high hopes for this LED light magnifier. What I experienced with this magnifier is mainly related to the batteries. The device uses a complicated sized battery, it arrived with 4 dead batteries and it is very difficult to remove/replace the dead batteries with new ones. There are NO instructions in the device how to easily change the batteries. When I bought new batteries and struggled to put them in, they lasted about 3 hours and then died. Since purchasing this magnifier I have replaced the batteries 5 DIFFERENT TIMES. (I spent more on batteries than the unit cost!) I suspect something is wrong with the connection - the LEDs are perfectly lit (if the unit is working) but the loupe is unreliable due to a very short short circuit. Battery life. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM (unless you own stock in the battery company!)
