Review on Sony INZONE Gaming Monitor Dimming 27", 144Hz, HDR, SDMU27M90, HD by Keith Heflin

This is my first "gaming monitor" and I can definitely see the difference in the video quality you get. Between the higher refresh rate and the display characteristics themselves, everything looks great on screen. To get the most out of this monitor, you really need to pair it with a powerful graphics card or a lot of power is wasted. One thing I didn't know is that the monitor actually has built-in speakers. I only discovered this when I set up my monitor and wasn't using the BT headset I normally use with my computer. I won't be using these speakers all the time, probably not, but it's nice to have the option as I don't have any speakers set up on this computer otherwise. The design of the monitor is very impressive and makes sense if you have this monitor prominently on your desk. If your desk is pushed against a wall, you won't notice it. I had some issues with the stand's design as it interfered with the cable entry points and made it more difficult than necessary. Between the looks of the stand and the functional one, I would have preferred a more functional one that would allow me to adjust the height of the screen, but that's a personal opinion. In terms of monitor performance, it does more than I need. Personally, I don't play many of the newer FPS games that require the kind of performance this monitor can provide, but I do enjoy watching movies on my computer and this display makes watching 4K movies that much more enjoyable. Color reproduction is excellent, with vivid colors and excellent contrast. Although this monitor is expensive, it also gave me extra features thanks to all the inputs available. Now I can move my Playstation/Xbox to this monitor so the main TV doesn't load. With all these features and equipment features, the higher price can be justified. So far I really like this monitor.
