Review on Dorman 56309 Heated Door Mirror Glass - Passenger Side for Ford / Lincoln Models by Jason Hill

Look very nice and I would buy them again. The electric heater inside works. The old mirror was already broken so it was no problem to solve it. The old mirror may have been original and had a molded plastic flap that appears to block the view behind the mirror. This new mirror allows you to look under the mirror to see the inside of the plastic mirror housing. If I had to do it all over again I would paint the inside of the mirror housing matte black paint. never mind When I put the mirror on the wires they didn't really want to slip and I thought I might break something there and it seemed like too much effort to snap the mirror into place so I figured the mirror might break there. I am grateful that everything went well. Beautiful mirror assembled in 5 minutes. Reason 4 out of 5 is that you can see behind the mirror due to the angle at which the mirror should be mounted on the passenger side. A molded plastic dam would be an improvement.
