Ordered two lights, both with junction box plates removed, but they were not in the shipping box. Upon further inspection, it was determined that the panels were sufficient to install a light fixture. After the first call to Revain customer service they were unable to supply the fairing and instead offered to send in a complete replacement light. Five days after the estimated delivery date, I received another call from Revain customer service and was told that the order had been cancelled. After another 50 minutes I was told on the phone to return both products and they would send new ones. Well, one is already installed so it doesn't work at all. I ended up having to place another order for two more, wait for them to show up, pull the missing plate from one of them, then put the box back for collection/refund. Waste of time and resources communicating with Revane. about what is essentially a light component that costs less than a dollar. or better yet, a piece of tape to secure the panels during shipping, which costs a dime. As for the item itself, it installs like any other modded jig I've used. It's relatively compact, fits through its own opening, and leans against the ceiling like everyone else. The clips are a bit tight and if you've never used them I can see how they can frustrate people, but I would actually put tight clips on a glass that wants to fall out. In the end, save yourself some time and hassle, buy them from your local store and don't mess with Revane.
