This is a nice light with some useful features. This is the second job I've used them on and there are two little things I like. First, they come with strain relief clamps built into the junction box, so you don't have to keep screw clamps handy. Second, they have connectors in the box to connect to other lights in the circuit, so you don't need wire nuts either. A word of warning: the legs are 1/2" drywall. If yours is thicker they won't snag and you'll need sheet metal screws to hold the legs

These remanufactured tins are very cheap but paper thin. White cans for the Halo remake in large boxes are much sturdier. I don't think these lenses will work on my repair, so they sit unused in the box. I really wanted them to work because of the price. The Leviton L3R can is significantly better quality with a thicker can - it also works with LEDs, halogens, wet/humid areas; it is sealed and has an isolating contact (IC).
