Guide is very bad! What they don't mention is that four ground wires need to be separately connected to the system (and grounded separately in your setup): one to an external bus bar dedicated (you need to purchase separately) for the DC installation of your device DC -Lamps, fans, etc. (red and black wire connectors on the back of the box), one on the AC bus inside the box (bottom right rear) and one on the battery connector on the DC side of the box (top left of the box) and one on the battery. I ended up calling the company to clarify. I suggest if you have any questions do the same. They are very responsive and always available. Housing and door made of thin plastic. However, the product works very well once installed.
