Ideal Basic Diet
I've been using this for years and nobody has ever given up on it. If you keep rats, they need an alkaline diet. Feeding them leftovers as their main food will not help keep them healthy. I add fresh fruits and vegetables and sometimes yogurt or peanut butter as a reward or training aid. Sometimes they are also given bones to wear down their teeth a bit. A highly recommended product.
