Ideal for normal use.
I've cycled through a variety of monitors at work. With two screens you can always see how different they can be in quality. I will admit that I have this monitor as my only monitor at home and my usage is pretty average (internet, word, excel, a few simple games etc) but this monitor has had no issues since day one, unlike the various commercial monitors I had at work.
