The quality of the foam itself is on par with the local store but I should have done some research before buying as a gift for someone but it turns out that local craft stores stock the same materials for about 40% less per square foot, and they also stock them in large sheets (24"/60") for larger projects. I think this is a good option if your local store doesn't have the thickness you want. Other than that, I can't think of a reason to pay more for smaller sheets and wait a few days to get them. it just isn't like that anymore. In my opinion, online retailers are becoming more and more greedy.
