Items smell horrible and dies don't fit well

The handles on this product smell like horrible chemicals. It's very strong. I can smell them sitting on the table away from my face. The metal cylinder that is inserted into the hole to actually punch the holes also didn't fit the hole well and they left gray marks on the paper. was to punch holes.
