Works well, 5 amp slow charge is better for your batteries than fast charge. Doesn't boil the batteries which is not good as the batteries never get hot. One thing I monitored with the 36 volt ohmmeter setting, I read 40+ volts and the green light never came on so I unplugged the unit, let the batteries sit for an hour and plugged the unit back in, the Light turned red and then green. Hope that helps.
