This is a pretty good bag - it's light weight, feels good and offers good protection. The Apple Pencil slot is great for charging, and even without a pencil, the lid closes without much play. I've added a picture to show the difference. I ended up sending it back, but that was more down to personal preference - I'm not a fan of the triple stand system and wasn't sure the pen wouldn't fall off when opened. No problem when closed, only if I keep it up. Since I love reading and watching videos on my iPad, this case didn't work for me.
