Received 2 of these yesterday to use as a stand with some extra storage for the PS2 and PS3 and their controllers. They're quite well suited for this purpose and the construction feels solid and solid, but my only concern is that the stability or holding weight it gets from the sparse hole pattern doesn't make the ventilation function as effective as I suspect. like the tighter perforation pattern on the Allsop posts you can compare this to. However, I think the overall construction is more solid due to the way the perforated plate covers the legs (metal plate flex is a common remark about Allsop stands). My biggest concern is buying them because others comment that the screws are too short. connect the legs to the plate; However, I think there was a design change - I had screws protruding from the panel that just had to align the legs and slide over them, then I took the supplied nuts and a "wrench" to tighten the legs in that panel to tighten. will work fine but i will update my review if anything changes.
