I bought the Nordic Ware Insulated Baking Pan about a year and a half ago or more and I still love this pan. If you've never used an insulating pan, this is something special! Ideal if your bottom is too tanned. I have a gas stove and so far it has worked perfectly. In fact this is the perfect cookie pan, I have used it for other items as well as it has become my favorite pan. The instructions for the pan mention that if water does get in, put them in the oven for about 20 minutes to dry them out. If I had to improve this item, I would choose stainless steel (American made, of course) over aluminum, but that's just personal preference not based on baking differences. Anyway, I recently bought a second one and just gifted the set to my parents who I know will love it too.
