I am very impressed with these shoes, I have never worn sandals as a casual shoe all day. Great soles, they don't pick up rocks/dirt and do a great job of protecting your feet from gravel and sharp rocks. The most important thing for me was to keep my feet cool without sand/gravel getting into the breathable shoe. I don't know how, but even fine beach sand didn't cause any irritation or discomfort. I've only had them for a few months but they hold up well to everyday use. No more sweaty socks/feet on days with over 100 degrees.
