Review on πŸŽ₯ SILVER TICKET STR Series 6 Piece Home Theater Fixed Frame 4K/8K Ultra HD, HDTV, HDR & 3D Projection Screen - 115" Diagonal, 2.35:1 Format, Woven Acoustic Material by Chuck Shapiro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

When I unpacked all the parts for the first time, my first reaction was that I was very impressed with the quality of the whole thing.

I bought a 120" acoustically transparent braided screen. I've only had it 2 days so wanted to leave a review while everything is fresh in my head. Incredible value especially if you're buying other screens. The assembly is not difficult at all, although it does require a little patience $400 The metal frame is very solid and durable The black velvet wrapped around it is very nice and clean and the screen material is not super thin easy to tear material For those who are Looking at the Acoustic Woven Screen I would like to address the most common problem, sound leakage. To the human ear this is zero. I was actually more concerned when I opened it up and realized that there is actually a second black cloth behind the white cloth goes. Material. It's similar to the material most floorstanding speakers have on the front, but two layers? I got mine S made org. In fact, I watched movies on a stand on the TV in the room for several weeks until I powered up the screen and projector. So I know how it sounded before and now and there is no difference. So I suspect there may be a slight loss of decimal on the sound meter, but your ears won't hear it and there's no mute feature. The image that appears on the acoustic fabric is second to none. You don't even know it's perforated unless you're within 1ft of it. I estimate it will take most people 1 hour to assemble the frame and 25 minutes to install and hang the brackets. Now that I've done it once, I can do it in about 35 minutes. Note: I'm using an Optoma HD142x as a projector and all in-wall speakers are Polk RC series. I bought the entire setup from Revain, plus screen, projector, 3 speakers and a PW 505 subwoofer. I have a home theater which is great for people on a budget but appreciate good sound and picture. I was in film school for 2 years, so I installed a lot of cinema halls for 20-30 thousand dollars, it's not, but for 10% of the price, the difference is so minimal. It surprises my kids, it surprises my friends. If a decent 75-inch Sam's Club TV costs $2,000, I'd pick a real home theater any day.

Pros
  • Project an image on the wall to determine the size of the projector before purchasing and watch the step-by-step instruction video provided.
Cons
  • Expensive
