Unlike factory mufflers and pipes that are welded together, these Borla mufflers and pipes are bolted together. You can install this system without a lift if you simply cut off the factory exhaust in strategic places with the Sawzall. It helps if you have 2 jacks that can be used on either side of the car to let air in, but remember to also use the jacks as an extra backup in case the jack fails.
