Great product. Partitions and exterior walls are definitely fragile but still strong enough. I bought these so my dog would be more comfortable in the back seat and not worry about falling on the floor. I'm short so there's about an inch on each side of the container between the seat and the driver. Fits good. Pretty difficult to zip and unzip, but I'll probably just leave it closed but not zipped. It's shorter than I thought it was in my 2011 Chevy Equinox and you can see there's a fair amount of room between the top of the container and the top of my seats. But I don't mind. If it had been bigger, it might not have gotten past the headrest. I'm not sure if the materials used cost $40, but there aren't many anyway.
