Much Better Dashboard Meters Per Mile!

I bought the Metra 99-5821B dashboard kit first as it had good reviews and it was black and I thought it would look better. What a mistake and what a POS was Metra. Main problems.1. Scosche uses factory brackets (4 bolts holding the factory radio in place) to "mount" the aftermarket radio, this was easy to install. Good luck on some radios) Replace the aftermarket deck and screw the usual 4 small screws into the radio through the "snap" bracket. My Pioneer AVH 501 was too wide and didn't fit anywhere. Also, the Metra's black finish wore away with everything I did to put the radio back in place (which again didn't work). The silver trim on the scosche is better and doesn't scratch when touched and matches the silver trim around the shifter almost perfectly, you can hardly tell the difference. I would NEVER, EVER, recommend Metra to anyone if I don't like them. !If I had to do this over and over I would make sure I had a deck with an adjustable screen as the deck is hard to see because it's so deep in the dashboard. But I had a killer deal on a Pioneer AVH-501 ($150) that I couldn't pass up at the time. I have a satellite tuner behind the deck, a factory Maestro module adapter and 3 sets of RCA and it fits just right (that's what she said) but it's not too bad. I've installed many aftermarket decks, but on a 2010-2012 Fusion this was an INJURY. But I will say that it was just the Pioener deck that made the crappy Sony Factory system sound so much better.
