I have owned this mount for almost two years. I know this mount is for tablets but I've only used it for my large Galaxy Note phones. I'm mostly happy with it, but I'd like some improvements. This works better than the regular sized phone mount for my heavy phone. It holds my phone well most days. I use both of the metal plates that come with the kit, stacked one below the other on the back of the phone, but I've found that this allows me to easily place the phone on top of it without having to place it strategically. It also prevents the phone from slipping out of the holder or falling off. I didn't attach the metal plates to my phone or case, I put them between the phone and the case. I like to change the case from time to time so I like that I can move the plates from one phone to another. Due to the way I place the metal plates, I can't always use it with all of my cases, especially if the case is too thick. It works best with flat back cases and/or double layer cases where I place the plates between the layers. One of the main disadvantages is that when I park my car in the heat, the mount's suction cup detaches from the base plate. it sticks. You won't notice until you move and the weight of the phone moves the mount. I usually have to let the suction cup cool completely before I can reattach it. I've successfully reattached it a couple of times, but that renders it unusable on hot summer days. If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up. Comment below for any questions.
