Doubting dog raises two thumbs on stable platform

Finally a stable platform for my dog. We travel together quite a bit and the contoured rear seats make him uncomfortable on long trips. This offers a solid three-segment design that allows you to reconfigure it to suit your needs. The only criticism is the belt. They are not of the highest quality, with frayed/jagged edges underneath the packaging and not long enough. I'm a short legged woman and the straps that attach to the front seat base are about 6 inches shorter because I have to slide the front seat forward to reach the pedals. I left the center pocket down so my dog could get air through the vents - look at that. It could also just be my car, but if the outside corners of the platform were cut at an angle (45 degrees instead of 90 degrees for example) they would better fit the contours of modern cars. I put a mat on mine to provide extra cushioning and traction. The dog had his doubts at first but definitely seemed to have a calmer feel when walking, so two thumbs up!

  • Great overall performance
Cons
