Review on 🛏️ Electrowarmth Twin Heated Mattress Pad - Non-Fitted, 36 x 60 - Model T36 12V - Ideal for Trucks, RVs, Campers - White by Ronald Cambridge

The bunk warmer appears to be made with good stitching and quality material. I'm using a 12 volt floor heater for a late fall campground in the Midwest. I put it on a heavy-duty mega mat and a sleeping bag on a floor heater. The highest level of 7 warmed me up quickly (<15 minutes), I had to turn it down. 3 seems reasonable to me. <Starting technical garbage> I am using this with a 650Wh 12V SLA solar battery. I studied the power consumption at each setting to get an idea of how long the battery should last. I noticed that the current drawn doesn't change when setting, but the time the current is drawn does, except at setting 1. For example in #7 the current drawn is constant, 6.5A, the pad has its maximum registered surface reached . Temperature 92*F. At setting #2, the power appears to be on for 1 second and off for 1 second. Setting #6, ON 2 sec OFF 0.5 sec The surface temperature was quite different when measured with the #2 to #6 laser probes, but the difference can be felt when lying on a heating pad. Not sure what #1 is doing, it seemed to draw <3A for a very short time with longer OFF periods in between. I don't know if I have a use for 1, I didn't feel much heat on this setting, I suppose it can be used for super power saving and that's not all. I don't like the cost of the product; It seems like old tech + high availability materials shouldn't cost that much. BUT then again I would probably pay anything to keep me warm if I was freezing in a tent. I don't have a word on the durability or reliability of this heater yet, but if it doesn't last more than a few uses I'll be sure to update the review to reflect that performance stat.
