I'm a mechanic, they're good for checking brakes, they say they're cheap plastic, my colleagues have strong metal brakes. Do your job and measure accurately, yes. Are they particularly durable for professional use, right? If you're a home mechanic then they're probably fine, if you're a pro you'll probably break them.
