I bought this item specifically to strain cauliflower while cooking. I try to eat a low carb diet and include fresh and frozen cauliflower in my meals. Since cauliflower contains so much water I bought this cheesecloth to strain the water out and it works great! I basically cut out pieces as needed and reuse them. After sieving, I rinse the fabric in warm water and set it on a glass to dry. I've reused the same piece 4 times and still no tears or holes in the gauze. I would recommend this item as it is of excellent quality.
